Guess the lens ... - Guest - 11-02-2013 I was going to say sigma 60f2.8 but the comment on the 35-100 suggest after wide open the resolution should be decreasing; the sigma is availble for NEX and it is one of the sharpest lenses in existent but the profile of the curve doesn't fit; unless it sharpens up a bit after wide open. Guess the lens ... - Guest - 11-05-2013 Perhaps you meant this link; btw they have an interesting comment how they had to change the test: http://www.lenstip.com/385.4-Lens_review-Fujifilm_Fujinon_XF_27_mm_f_2.8_Image_resolution.html Guess the lens ... - Klaus - 11-05-2013 We don't use dcraw for the tests. Guess the lens ... - frank - 11-06-2013 The lenstip shows that the 27mm has bad border resolutions. So I am sure it is the Tamron 90mm. Guess the lens ... - Guest - 11-06-2013 Yes I quite agree it is unlikely the 27mm; for some reason last night I was confused by bright's response. Still I find it quite interesting just how many 'good' 90mm lens exist. It begins to beg the question of why we need more (though I see this one adds vc as the key new feature). - I am somewhat concern about fuji QC (I guess this comment is related to the fuji thread I just read) but overall they seem to have a nice system if you like their cameras (form factor) which I do.
