I was marvelling at it yesterday. Basically a 16-35mm f4 lens taking the easy way out (it takes some effort to make a zoom lens a fixed max aperture lens throughout the zoom range), weighing more than for instance the Canon EF 16-35mm f2.8 L USM III DSLR lens, but for a mirrorless camera (200 grams more than that f2.8 lens). For $5500, or 5 times what a Canon EF 16-35mm f4 L IS USM costs. And also 5 times what the Sony/Zeiss FE 16-35mm f4 ZA OSS costs. Wow.

Duh, it's a Leica. I'll keep my Canon for a while, unless it takes umbrage at having been dropped into mud while trekking in Nepal's highlands (a sad and true story) and decides to quit on me. Smile

P.S. Besides, this Leica... doesn't seem to have a stabilizer like Nikon/Canon/Sony?..
