Cool bokeh though. RE: TTArtisan “cloned” the Trioplan for $155. - stoppingdown - 08-07-2023 It's not for landscape. :-) RE: TTArtisan “cloned” the Trioplan for $155. - Rover - 08-07-2023 F/11 ought to do the trick. But I guess this is still an option for connoisseurs, so to say. RE: TTArtisan “cloned” the Trioplan for $155. - jkp2505 - 08-08-2023 Thanks for the heads up I’ve often thought it would make sense for one of these brands to create such a lens (given that the real deal costs a fortune used) and can’t understand why nobody seems to have done it until now? I know there have been very expensive ‘licensed’ copies but as long as they don’t put the name Trioplan or Meter Optik anywhere then surely it’s just a very simple design that anyone can copy? The patents on the triplet design must surely have expired long ago RE: TTArtisan “cloned” the Trioplan for $155. - toni-a - 08-11-2023 (08-08-2023, 05:54 PM)jkp2505 Wrote: Thanks for the heads up Can't agree more, was going to say the same thing |
