Impressive indeed. I'll wait to see other reviews, but this one seems very promising.

I may very well buy one as it would be my main lens for travelling.

This one as well as an Oly 9-18 and a Pana 20 1.7 would be the perfect travelling combo IMO.

Yes, it's impressive.

I wonder how much smaller/lighter it would have been if Pana hadn't included IS in the lens. It looks like their future bodies will feature in body IS (makes sense), so let's hope they will stop releasing in lens IS (simpler design, more reliable, cheaper and smaller).

I'm really looking forward to a photozone.de review of that lens.

Is it scheduled already?

 

 

I would be really interested what would be the better travel camera:

 

OM-D & 14-140mm II & low light prime (17mm Oly, 20mm Pana)

 

or

 

Nikon V1/2 & 10-100mm & low light prime (18.5 f1.8)

 

 

As both super zooms have a great reputation on photo forums... (they might be better than super zooms for bigger sensors).
