now i had some time with the sigma and the canon
after running around with both lenses for several days i have to say, the weight of the sigma is
exhausting.
the zoom on the canon is damn fast if used to.
i am not there yet, but thats okay i guess.
image quality is great with both lenses.
100-400 on 400 is not that good, as can be seen
in the test on this page, but still, its good enough.
i do however miss the speed of the sigma with the canon lens.
but with 1k euros cheaper the canon 100-400l surly is one
hell of a good deal.
going for the 100-400 till i can afford a 300 f2.8 and 500 f4 <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
