If they stay within sane levels - no. Insanity starts somewhere beyond 3px.

Actually, despite what Klaus says, they do - any optical fault or aberration does. A resolution drop may not be noticeable, however, until 3 px <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />.
