Canon UK repair
#1
My 7D died suddenly recently so I'm finally getting around to looking at repair. Having just called Canon UK I'm not inspired with confidence, although its probably just a call centre issue, it doesn't give a good impression. essentially just send it in and they'll take a look and get back.

I've now also e-mailed one of the authorised repair centres who at least seem to be more on the ball. Anyone with specific experience of UK repairs?

Hi Popo,

Nikon UK worked well for me, which I appreciate is no help for you, but I also had a recommendation for Fixation and spoke to them: they seemed knowledgeable and sound from the conversation I had with them.

I've been doing much searching and asking around, and I've decided to go with Canon RCC after all and see how it goes from there. The authorised service centres don't seem much different. Just need to get round to packing and shipping it...
