Actually I've heard someone say - on Sonyalpharumors.com probably - that the E mount is mechanically very similar to Nikon F mount, to the point that "dumb" stuff like bellows is usable. But don't call me out on that.

Initially there were reports of some hybrid mount of sorts. Who knows, might be a fun idea.
