My guess is that it will have a bit of vignetting and be a 3 1/2* lens <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Btw the 20f1.7 is well regarded in the micro-4/3 forum (well dpreview anyways). Imho if I read this thread correctly the folks who see a use for this lens in their arsenal praise it and those who don't consider it uless fluff in canon lens lineup. Is this a correct tranaslation of the last 15 or so posts ?

IMHO I have no opinion since I no longer use canon; but the reaction to the voightlander 40f2.0 was positive by some and less so by others <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> (in 4/3 forum there really is not a good alternative to the 20f1.7; where as with canon you do quite a few alterantive that differ slightly in price fstop and other factors (but are fairly close in basic function).

This was more meant towards comments in orher forums.
I will try to get the 40/2.8 tomorrow.
