Possible, but unlikely. Preliminary versions of ACR usually lack only colour profiles, which leads to colour being reporduced incorrectly. Demosaicing and NR are usually spot on.
Second, the samples you show are misleading. High iso is most often used in dark environemnt, thus the reproduction of dark areas is where you should compare high iso shots. Zoom into the little black box with the colour threads and the fluffy balls, if you wanna get a realistic impression of the sonys high iso capabilities. White or light coloured image areas are unsuitable for judging noise performance as noise hardly shows up there even at ridiculously high isos. What you see in your pics is simply the resolution adavatage of the sony, which in bright areas stays even at high iso, because the camera does not need to apply as much NR to bright areas as to dark areas.
Looking at the dark areas of the sony you will notice lots of horrible colour blotching.
