Hi,

pretty amazing shots - I like especially the third and fifth one:

Very interesting, thank you for sharing. I thought about it, and I have come to the conclusion that I'll leave others to experiment with this. I am just too impatient <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />.

It does put things in a different perspective, however <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Sad' />.

Kind regards, Wim

34 months is really something... I'd forget the camera there and break the record but no one -including me- could know it...

Not quite the same thing, but there are several photos on the web that took a year to make. They are multiple exposures that include the sun in the frame, taken at the same time every few days. Since they are taken at the same time of day, the sun traces out a figure 8 pattern in the sky. The first one I ever saw was taken around 1979. I googled "analemma photo" and found several examples. e.g. http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/...00x450.jpg

PS: I think I read that the guy that took the 1979 photo tried in 1978 but the camera was aimed slightly off and the analemma ran off the frame so he had to do the whole thing over again the next year.
