Now their lineup is confusing especially we don't known which sensor is used in which camera, already 80D has different 24MP hat 750/760D

Toni-a, only you must be confused.

It is clear that the T71/800D/X9 uses the 24.4mp sensor of the 80D. And that the 77D uses the same sensor as the 80D. And the M5 and M6 use the same sensor as the 80D too. Not strange, the 80D and 5D mk IV having the newer generation sensors, it would be strange for new cameras to go back to older gen. sensors. Canon only puts old gen. stuff in the XX00D line.

Nothing confusing about that, I should think.

The 800D follows the XX0D/rebel line as it used to be since the beginning of time. The 77D gets rid of the confusion the 760D posed, and now clearly says most features of the 80D in a smaller, lighter package. The M5 is a direct replacement of the M3, with most of the internals of the M5 with the M5 having a bigger grip and EVF built in.

Well 750D and 80D don't seem to have the same 24 MP sensor...

should the 800D have the same sensor as 750D like 20D-30D or same as 80D like 300D and 10D

The 750D of course doesn't have the same sensor as the 80D, when the sensor of the 80D a new development at the time of the 80D introduction....

Like I wrote, the 800D does not have the old sensor, Canon does not do that.

really till now i didn't figure out difference between 800D and 77D is it just pentaprism vs pentamirror ?

What the 77D has over the 800D:
  • 7650-pixel RGB + IR meterting sensor similar to that of the 80D
  • Anti-flicker shooting mode for artificial light situations
  • Top LCD display
  • Quick control dial
  • Lock switch
  • AF focus button on back to separate focus and shutter control
For a pentaprism, look at the heavier 80D.
