I have no Tokina lenses so have no related experience to draw from, since their support for Sony shooters seems to be very limited; with only the 11-16mm F2.8 being the only available model to us A-mount users.

 

However is this new 11-20mm F2.8 lens a replacement of the former?  I haven't seen it written clearly anywhere that this is the case?  I'm wondering along the lines if this is going to be available in Sony fitting (a-mount) or not?

 

I would have loved to have a play around with their 10-17mm fisheye zoom lens!

The 11-20mm will surely be a replacement. I doubt, however, that they'll release it in Sony mount.
