Opticallimits

Hi, I've been trying to post some photos. I either get a progression bar then some sort of error code 500 

 

 or a red bar across the bottom and no image,  Small Jpg < 1mb

 

  Please erase post after replies.

 

Tried Opera browser, internet explorer and google chrome on two computers;

 

 

  Never had a problem before, any ideas?

Linking an URL is working. And for the first time I uploaded something here and it appears to be working, too

Hi Joju,

 

   It's something to do with the photos I tried to upload  although they are small Jpgs, tried some others that have gone through the same process and they uploaded OK.

Have you exceeded your quota, maybe ?

If so it may help to delete some of your gallery images.

 Well I've tried the lot, all other photos post fine, the two I want to post come up with "error 500".  I've used exactly the same process as the others.  RAW-PSD.   PSD- Irfanview compressed to Jpg  800 kbs.  Several browsers! Tried retried, Not a sausage!

 

What is error 500?

 

 

 I've only ever posted  3-4 photos!

Hmmh, strange. Error 500 = internal server error.

I suppose the forum engine doesn't like your JPG encoding for whatever reason.

It is odd because I've posted the images on Dpreview and on facebook, guess I've got a problem with my internals!
