Well, the mirrorless gang has to design telecentric lensed - otherwise things get messy. And that comes at a cost.

The Canon lens is pretty much unique anyway.

Is that reversed telecentric? On a DSLR you have to do that too, don't you, with short focal lengths (due to bigger flange distance)?

By the way, the Canon EF-M 11-22mm IS STM is a pretty good wide angle zoom too, and pretty cheap too.
Well, due to the longer distance from mount to sensor, the issue is eased on DSLRs to start with.

Now if you ask me which ultra-wide lens has a telecentric design I couldn't tell honestly. :-)
