I remember one adapter, probably from Canon to Sony E, that could take filters in. That was a great idea, honestly.

  • Works with all lenses
  • Easily removable filter to focus
  • Compact
Tomorrow I plan to get an 11 mm Irix blackstone, maybe in exchange of the Sigma 20/1.4 which is seeing not much daylight. The lens popped up in my mind every month or so and I think I want to know what's about it.

Or you can go Sony and buy the Voigtländer 10mm Tongue

Apples to oranges, I know. But look at the size of that thing!

It's easy to get small with f/5.6, no?  Smile All 3 lenses could hide behind the Sigma 14/1.8, so size is no deciding factor. Curiosity is.

I just wonder why so many and similar UVA high resolution/price/weight
lenses. At the same time the choice of tilt and shift lenses is very limited

The Sigmas are benefitting of their big aspherical glass element which they are pretty proud to be able to mold. And the overall optical quality shows they are doing a good job on that.

Ultra Violet Angle?
