From what I saw, nobody has "made" anything yet. The picture is of a vintage camera. I don't have high hopes in that project but I'll be interested in how it pans out nevertheless.
I predict this will be quite crap
Well why not ? get the already fine Zenit film gear, get the digital components (sensor, processor,...) from third party and you have a camera that would sell nicely, maybe it won't competein specs with the best mirrorless around , but with a reasonable price it might well take back the niche previously occupied by Zenit film cameras.
Already fine Zenit film gear? What are you smoking
Hey although a high quality cannabis is planted in Lebanon, it's still illegal to use, and don't expect an addictology specialist to use it
for whatever reason some countries found it's fine to make liberal the use of a brain damaging product.
Zenit did have some very good cameras and lenses and recently there have been rumors of new debit lenses 85f1.2 and a very fast 50mm prime, maybe the company is dead now but the name Zenit should be a very good way of entering the market
Hmm, I have never heard of a very good Zenit camera, not of very good Zenit lenses. I have herd about bargain basement Zenit products that offered very old tech.
Hi Brightcolours,
I'm from Netherlands and I have recieved one zenit camera en 50mm lens from my father. tt was my firstcamera, no idea how old I was. Later on received Minolta I still have this zenit and one Leica at the basement.
No wonder that both works fine - no idea how old they are. As far as I remembered zenit was also second hand
