Hi, the MTF according to Sigma for the new 60 seem very impressive.

Any chance these are the real numbers of the lens?

cheers!

Looking good indeed.

miro

well,

it is true that the lens is resolution monster but

 - 120mm/5,6 on mFT

 - 90/4.0 @E-mount

 - non Macro add to this poor MFD does not speaks me at all

or, do I miss something?

ps: yes, size, weight and price are something that will attract

people to buy such lens

nowadays we are living in  ´smaller is beautiful hype¨

however few years ago was ´bigger is better´.

Such patterns remember me - short gown long gown in women fashion

or while cars black cars by men.

ps. I think you're in for a huge disappointment if you think smaller cameras ( e.g. mirrorless) aren't here to stay for more than just a hype. Plenty of clues already : phase detect/alternative focusing aids granted by on sensor processing and ever increasing said processing power.. no mirrorbox,i guess we'll see the average size dcrease.

Just take what you need, remember these dn lenses are super cheap...
