Opticallimits

For a CX-only user, this is already a bulky lens. But for those who are used to a larger DX or even FX setup, the lens is of course very compact for the reach it offers on a CX camera.


I really enjoyed taking this combo to the local zoo.

Thanks Markus for the wave of Nikon lens reviews :-)

 

I find this test particularly interesting as it gives (from my understanding) an outlook on the center performance of lenses on a virtual ~70MP FX body and should resemble the center performance on the 24MP DX sensor. The stress put on large aperture performance is clearly visible.

Love that last line Markus, "On the other hand: if narrow DOF is what you're after, choosing a Nikon 1 camera was not the best idea to start with anyway..."
