In reality Markus isn't human. He's a photo bear with occasional hibernation and followed by review frenzy.
You guys have all been pretty active lately, after a break that you probably needed a lot. It's great fun to read photozone now.
Speaking of the lens in question... it doesn't look too enticing per se, but in context it's fairly good (looks pretty much equal to the 17-40L for example, although with different ups and downs along the range).
Markus, how would you compare this Tokina to Nikon 17-35?
May be here is not the right place to say it but...
Whoever worked on changing the look of PZ it did excellent job, I like it very much. It also seem more responsive while visited via smart phone.

Personally, I'd prefer the Nikon because of its faster aperture and AF-S.
However, you'll have to pay considerably more for the Nikkor, unless you find a heavily used one (which I'd hesitate to buy).
