I've not been here for a while... just looked in to check out WA lenses for FF (vaguely thinking I might get a D600 some time) and was pleasantly surprised to see this.

Try to get your hands on one before you decide. I handled the D600 at photokina, and even though it's very similar to the D7000, it felt a little less comfortable in my hands.
Regarding UWA lenses for FF: two reviews in my pipeline for the very near future (Tokina 17-35, Tamron 17-35). And it seems, Nikon plans to update the 18-35 with an AF-S drive soon.
