New features: PDAF, tilting touchscreen, dual band wifi, 3D 45/1.8 lens, 9fps, 1080p@60fps. They claim the fastest autofocus available on the market: Samsung's Jay Kelbley, senior marketing manager of digital imaging, told us that the NX300 "is probably the fastest focusing camera you've ever tried."

Samsung is surprisingly good ... and committed. It's a pity that they don't gain traction.

Interestingly enough they have 105 PDAF points and 247 CDAF points. That's more than anybody else on the market. I wonder whether their claims about fastest AF are true.
I wonder if the AF speed refers to single or continuous? We passed the point of "fast enough" for single years ago, and to me continuous AF is where I'd like to see significant improvement if mirrorless is going to really attack DSLRs.



Still, I guess we only have to wait and see.
