I am keen to get the Sony SLT-A77 and it compares well on paper with the other new cameras on the market but the comparison website that I use (snapsort.com) has the start-up time for the A77 listed as 3100ms (try comparing it something like a Canon 6D).
I don't think I can wait 3 seconds for my camera to turn on. And with an OLED viewfinder taking some of the juice I don't think I can afford to leave it on all the time.
Can someone who has the A77 please tell me if this is an accurate figure? What is your impression of the start up time for this camera?
Thanks,
Mike
