Yea I saw that and was amused. However, I was also shocked that they left a fingerprint on the rear element <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Don't you think they'd clean it if they opened it for a clog of loctite?

This sounds like borderline vandalism to me. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I wouldn't even try messing around with equipment like this - trying to clean the sensor myself was bad enough - but at least these people have their arms sewn to the body in the right way. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

" It amuses me that a couple of weeks ago I wrote about the new 24mm and 28mm Canon IS primes that I felt were overpriced at around $900, yet I believe this $900 lens is well worth the price (if you can get it for list price)."
This lens seems to be a real winner <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Extremely sharp and well built ...

That's the most expensive 85mm F/1.8 I've ever seen. surely it is a 85mm F/1.8 with a slight adjustment to focal length, made possible by the shorter flange distance... But wait, let me sprinkle some MFT magic dust on it *WALA* it's a 150mm F/1.8! OMG the first of its kind, comparable to the Canon 135mm F/2.0 and surely should be priced like one.
