Even less attractive than the EX 28 for landscape shooters (slightly worse borders), even more so for close-up lovers (slightly higher magnification):

Very disappointing. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

I can't see the link on the front page. Only found the review this way. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

Oops, sorry, forgot to add it to the front page. Thanks for the hint.

One more question: are you planning the DX reviews of the 2x/1.8 trio?

Yes, definitely, but I can't tell you yet when I'll find the time to write them.

Great series of reviews Markus.
Normally I would expect such lenses to have a better border sharpens when stop down, but I guess sigma have a different take.
BTW: should it be "solid" instead of "sold" here:"In fact, the lens is very sold an the build quality nothing to complain about".
