Well if that lens is the same (optically) as the one sold for m4/3 and nex; then it was likely a business decision. Actually I'm not sure a 45mm fixed lens is a total disaster if you like street stuff; though I have to admit that now adays folks seem enchanted with the wider view.

I have seen only positive reviews about sigma 30/2,8 so far.
What is the weakness of this lens?

I believe Klaus comment is in regards to focal length not optical quality...
