No visible distortions and it is suffering from LoCA... No surprises here, I guess...
Bokeh looks quite pleasing on images with far background blurs (e.g. images: 8, 10,14 and 15). Other than that, "average" I would say, not as good as the 85mm 1.4D or 1.4G...
What can you say about BQ?... Because at that price, I believe this new 1.8G will be very tempting (given that I have an old AF 1.8S) <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />...

The BQ is perfectly in line with the recent consumer AF-S primes, like 50/1.4, 50/1.8, DX 40, etc. So, it's not metal but plastics, not cheap plastics though.
