What kind of lens is that, a NEX 7? <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Shall be interesting. One complaint I've read about the nex-7 is that due to higher pixel density; it is more sensitive to bad technique (compared to the nex5n). I'm not too sure what to make of this complaint; it sounds like you can zoom in further and therefore shakes are more visible but the solution would be to limit your zoom factor to the same as the nex5n - no ?

it would be surely interesting to have a look at the smaller za's on this camera

or use 1/1600th rather than 1/1250th (at 300)....or that's what it looks like to me on the 7d....but maybe for different reasons, and i could be wrong

Yes, one of the first tests will be the Zeiss 16-80 via LA-EA2.

Good; how about the new 16-50? If you have a LA-EA2 adapter you might not need to go back to the APS-C tests on an A mount camera at all. You'd have to retest a lot of the lenses anyways because the old test body, the A700, is relatively low megapixel by today's standards (darn... I just said that! <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> even though my own camera is only 8 MP).

That is the plan - do all Sony APS-C tests on the NEX 7. I will do a fair amount of retesting but not with a 100% coverage. Something like the 16-35 or 24-70 will not be retested for sure - these are simply too much off-scope for APS-C.

Well, eventually ... sure. All E-mount lenses will be (re-)tested.
