Insane - 29g!!! It can be pushed off my desk just by staring at it.

This is a very interesting lens and probably the only Q-system item that has a reasonable price tag, at least when comparing to other fish-eye lenses.



Any opinion on optical quality and usability?

Well, what can you expect from a f/5.6 lens on the Q -> diffraction.

Just have a look at the tested prime and zoom lens and substract a little ...
