Dear PZ readers,



I'm about to buy a used lens. Could you please advise any tips how can I verify whether it has any hidden defects?



I know that you can try to shake it?<img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> But how do I go about checking everything else? Do I need to print out some tests and try to take photos of them? Time is not an issue, but I can't bring it out any where from the shop.
