"Interestingly DX users can mount an extra extension barrel for even more efficient light shading (more on that in our upcoming DX review of the lens)." <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I'd take the Nikon G without any hesitation.

Hi Markus,
There is a typing error in the link to the FX sample photos, there is a double-h at the beginning of the adress line: "hhttp://www.opticallimits.com/nikon_ff/605-sigma8514ff"
One question, because it looks like I just have to give this Sigma lens a chance considering the price difference to the Nikon, despite my bad focus experiences: The coma which is visible in the sample shot of the two black squares, does it rapidly decrease towards the image center or is it visible even just next to the image center?

Thanks, Chris, fixed the link.
I will check coma close to the center later this evening.

Hi Markus,
Did you have a chance to glance at the shots of the Sigma for estimating the coma?
Best wishes,
Christian
