There are some nice apps for Iphone (Focalware, Sunrise&Set) with similar usefulness - provide for sunrise/sunset, civil twilight based on your GPS location.. comes handy at times <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />

I installed [url="http://www.nikonians.org/html/resources/software/dof_calc_for_blackberry/dof.jad"]this one[/url] on my Blackberry. It calculates the far/near focus distances and additionally the hyperfocal distance for a given CoC, FL, aperture and subject distance. It's not much user friendly in field (because of the lack of real-time subject distance info in DSLRs) but a nice to have. By the way, these DoF calculations based on geometrical models are known to be not perfect due to the fact that some other factors (like lens aberrations, diffraction, vignetting etc...) are not taken into consideration.
