Thanks for the review. Basically what other people also say: good lens but not very competitive now.

The AF is also noticeably slow compared to (even) the older versions of Canons and Nikons... but try explaining that to Minolta zealots <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
