Looking for some advice from experienced photographers. I have a Pentax K20 camera. Curently using some older lenses that I purchased for my Pentex film camera in 1997. I have a pentex-f smc35-80mm and a sigma 100-300mm lense. Looking to buy a new wide angle lense for landscapes and indoor construction shots. I need to keep my budget around 400-600 dollars. Looking at the pentax DA 10-17 mm, sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 hsm, sigma 17-70mm or pentex 17- 70mm. Please offer your advice. thxs.

The 10-17 is a Fisheye, so unless you wish to correct the distortion I'd recommend the Sigma 10-20 or 17-70. The Pentax 12-24 or 17-70 would also be fine choices. It will depend on which focal lengths you find most useful and of course your budget. The DA*16-50 would also be a fine choice although a little expensive. I have the Sigma 10-20 4-5.6 and DA*16-50 and would recommend either highly, also the DA 15mm Ltd is a fine choice for a prime lens.
