If the optics render like the one for Sony FE mount, this should be a rather lovely lens to own. Of course, for those who want/need/enjoy using large apertures/shallow DOF.

Well, you mentioned wanting the "Canon dream lens", the 50mm f/0.95 "flare machine", once. This could be your (more realistic) ticket.

Look at the size of that back element. Clear why that for instance rules out a Nikon F-mount version. I wonder if the "flare mask" will introduce mechanical vignetting and oddly shaped bokeh balls.

Because you get better flares if you don't paint it black  It's all for retro style, ya know?
