Expected, they need to complete the mighty three lenses, 16-35 24-70 and 70-200f2.8, now we know what will be the next lens

They even got the LCD display from the Z 58 (amid others...) and the customizable ring from the Canon R.

Yeah Rover, I wondered where I had seen that control ring before....
I guess the 14-30mm f4 was further on in its development than the 24-70mm f2.8, when the EOS R was introduced, since it lacks the control ring. It will be interesting to see how the Canon RF 24-70mm f2.8 L IS USM and Nikkor Z 24-70mm f2.8 S will compare in regards to lens design. Also interesting, that all Nikkor Z lenses are "S", low end and high end. I wonder what non-S will be like?

Ahm not sure since I don't seem to know what "S" stands for in the case of the Nikon lenses. We're not seeing too many low-end lenses for FF mirrorless anyway (I can't really say that any of the Nikon Z lenses are low end, even the 50/1.8 is a moderately expensive, high-performance lens akin to the Sony ZA 55/1.8).
