Hope I haven't disturbed anyone's rest .......

........ but I've just noticed Samyang has announced an AF 85mm F1.4 WR UMC lens for the F mount!

  It's still nine elements in seven groups with one aspherical element ...... which reads like the older MF version ....... although decent and cheap the 85 mm wasn't the best of the Samyang range......

    .......anyone have some inside info?

                        ....... otherwise I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for a review

It is the same lens as the EF version that Klaus already tested, the LoCA machine.

Klaus, if you are reading this: in that Samyang 85mm f1.4 AF review it reads:
"The Samyang AF 85mm f/1.4 EF does mostly compete with the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG HSM ART as well as the Tamron SP 85mm f/1.4 Di VC USD."
The Tamron is a f1.8 lens, however.
