After Motorola failed here Huawei are giving them a try

With a company with huawei reputation in phone photography, the idea is expected to work at least for the few months...
Will we see huawei mount phone camera lenses  tests here?
If a mainstream phone manufacturer releases a serious lens system, I'd review it, yes.
However, as long as Huawei has limited access to Google apps, they don't qualify.
Don't underestimate Huawei... they sell more than 200 million phone cameras per year...
Without Google Apps, their market share will collapse in all western countries ...
Of course, they will survive because of their home market alone - but that's not an attractive market for me here.

Well they seem to be thriving well without the least sign of weakness, collapsing isn't even to be evoked.
Huawei just took over Samsung and became world #1 phone maker

Haha! That would have been pretty weird, Samsung in Chinese hands.
FWIW samsung company (the whle company not just phone division) is 17% of South Korea GDP..
