I find it pretty neat that their 35mm f2 and 85mm f2 lenses do 1:2 macro.

Absolutely a lens on my wishlist, it will replace both my 85mmf1.8 and 100mm macro, those are the lenses we need, we don't need unicorns and dragons...

If it renders decently, indeed a very attractive lens.
