Hmm is this how you usually do portraiture ??

This lens has a border sharpness at f1.2 that exceeds center sharpness of some lenses stepped down !!!!
However  unfortunately as its price and size it is not for everyone of us
Do you like the skin tone? ;-)
Have seen better. A bit pale, if not even metalic.

Spotted a few things to point out. Klaus, in the conclusion you say you've tested the Samyang 85/1.4 FE - I haven't found that test in the Sony section??? Besides, there's a typo of "whether to buy this len". Smile
Uupps, I'm getting old. I tested the Samyang AF 85mm f/1.4 EF not FE but that's a different design I think.

Yeah, the FE is a different design, and a highly regarded one.
Is it just me or is this the ugliest bokeh on a fast 85mm lens that I've seen?
