I see it i the middle of nowhere: very limiting zoom range, compact but not enough to justify compromises.
Sigma already tried with more interesting 24-35f2.0
Th rumored upcoming Canon 20-40f4 pancake should be far more attractive, although we won't be seeing both in the same mount anytime soon.
Hopefully Canon won't make a retractable lens or an outrageously expensive one as is their last trend
