Honestly most of these f/1.4 shots aren't properly focused ... most have a heavy front focusing issue.
That's probably not the fault of the lens but the guy wasn't using spot AF.

The face is oof but the shirt is actually sharp (with hints of moirees).
Some purple fringing though.

I tend to agree that this is 200$ too much. However, I suspect that the street pricing will be around that mark.
