Opticallimits

With all the reviews from Lenstip I have never heard them mention anything about a de-centered lens........ I thought for all the world that they swopped them out  lens if they came across one, but no, they found one with a Samyang 21mm F1.4 MF  and actually produced left and right resolution charts for it.

 

  

 All these years they must have had the luck of the gods! 

Lenstip gets lenses to test from importers and such. PZ buys them. That can be part of the reason?

Lenstip has tested decentered lenses. Look at the sample shots from the test of Panasonic 14 f2.5. The left side (bottom) is very soft.
