This might almost be enough for me to consider a trip to the cinema, not that any near me are likely to support that format.
Side note: I thought my monitor was wide at 2.39:1. It certainly makes the standard 16:9 (1.78:1) look like a square in comparison. But 2.76:1 would still leave me letterboxed!
