I use to have "day" dreams of someone making an adaptor for older film cameras, and was buying good film cameras from flea markets thinking someone will surely produce one.
It would have been good in it's day as the world was open to anything digital with cameras .... sadly it didn't happen and those who wanted to go digital had to buy a new camera complete.
The adaptor needs to be complete with battery, memory card and could well have a phone APP to change settings (although auto ISO is mentioned) all of that being in the cassette.
It remains to see whether this "start up" will produce anything truly useful or just another play for those gagging to make their old Nikon F digital so that they can still find a use for it ....
Is the 4/3rds sensor going to be too much of a step down on a 35mm? ... how do you compose the image
IMHO waiting so long for this adaptor to arrive has already sounded it's death knoll .... with millions of DSLRs now becoming redundant and unused (many of which are still great cameras) that are going for peanuts or even unsold, if you still want that OVF experience you are spoilt for choice with D3s, D700s, D750s, D850s, D500s and equivalents from Canon which still mount legacy lenses and have all the bells and whistles ....
With two days left to launch it won't take long before utube videos reveal all the details ..... the good the bad and the ugly !
Will it will be better than the fiasco of that Yashica? which showed how "start up publicity" can deceive using a system of "pre-order your dreams" just to find how they were taken for a ride .... if in doubt wait!

Ok I've watched a couple of videos of the product and I don't see anyone on this forum being sucked into that vortex ..... as I thought it's a "kludge" with additional clunkiness all held together with self adhesive velcro hiding a ribbon connector which passes through the SLR film loading door to a autowind under the camera box etc etc etc .....

Update: I've just noticed that printed twice on the kits cassette is the Yashica logo above the company's address in Hong Kong .... leading me to believe this product has a possible connection with above mentioned Yashica camera which received so much derision when released.
The kit sells for €674 ....
