lol, I wasn't very far off the mark when guessing the answer to "what lens can have 8.25% of barrel distortion". 😃

Then again, I can poke fun at Canon eight days a week but to be fair I'm actually wondering if the Nikon 14-30mm zoom is really any better.

Haha, looking forward to that (and a lot of other Nikon zooms, to be honest).
Tho the Canon 15-30 might also be worth a shot? Just so we know where the rock bottom is.

Good move analysing resolution after corrections, especially here where distortions are near to "off the scale" .... thus avoiding misconstrued user expectations! ......
