Not that much of a surprise as Lenstip had tested this lens (or the Mk.I) and found it among those breaking resolution records. I must say, though, that the goal of buying the Sony Mk.II has become a little less clear now, even though for my intended use (shooting things like nocturnal track and field events), I would need a lens with very fast and reliable AF. :-)
