Thanks, now I know I should avoid this lens even as I'm looking for something to put in the gap I now have betweeen 30mm and 50mm in my kit...

Damn... I should not have sold my Tamron 45mm! (but of course I can still buy it back from the second hand department of the store I traded it in to, paying a small "stupidity tax" of around 5000 RUB, which is a quarter of the price and overall no big deal to me. :-)

On a minor note: "simply thing" in the first part of the review should probably be "simple thing". :-)

It's not my fav FL but it's cheap and cheerful .......

Nit picking: regarding the focus shift, to me it's the 90/16 which is the sharpest point, not the 100, thus when stopping the lens down there is no focus shift, (Loca CAs aside)

..... of course I don't know which plane of focus the Z7 would choose ........
