Advice for Camera Selection for a High End Amateur - Steinar1 - 05-25-2011 I agree with you both BC and wojjt, but they merit to be mentioned among those cameras mentioned. Frankly, the D7000 IQ does not better the D300s. More resolution yes, but image quality?? Of course the D700 is a bit heavier and yes, it probably will be replaced soon. But so will the 7D! As far as the lenses were concerned; they were just an example of what one could use, no try to show THE best lenses ever. If I limit myself to the cameras mentioned, I would have to go with the Pentax K5. Light, good overall, best tropicalisation by far and good lenses, albeit with less choice. But this is not for a pro shooter and she will find all what she wants at Pentax, Sigma, Tamron, etc. |
