New Samyang 21mm f1.4 and 50mm f1.2 for APS-C MILC - toni-a - 09-23-2015 Don't get overenthusiastic, today at a lens service who does most lens repairs in Lebanon including outsourcing canon lenses repairs, and I had a talk with the owner: They might be good brand new however they are very fragile, dropping a lens might mean losing the lens. He was mostly talking about the 8mm fisheye dunno if this applies to all their lineup. In Canon lineup a particularly fragile lens and prone to problems is Canon EFS 18-200 to be avoided: Frequent body failure, secondary decentering, elements migrating etc another one with frequent autofocus motor failure is canon 50mm f1.4. Failure is not related to superzooms canon 28-300 f3.5-5.6L is one of the most reliable lenses.
